A NOTE ON OUR VISION This Godspell isn’t centered on any one specific faith tradition. Instead, it’s about a community of people from all walks of life coming together to “sing about love.”
We welcome people of all faiths, genders, orientations, and abilities to join us as we share a message of compassion, connection, and joy in a world that could use more positivity.
Together, we’ll build our “Beautiful City.”
AUDITIONS: ALL ARE WELCOME! This is an inclusive, adaptive theatre experience, and we are actively seeking performers with and without disabilities. Everyone belongs on our stage.
Auditions held at Church of the Redeemer United Church of Christ
23500 Center Ridge Road
Westlake, OH 44145May 26 & May 287:00–9:00 PM (please plan to stay the full time though we may not use it all)
What to Expect at Auditions: Come ready to share your voice and your personality! We’ll ask you to sing something you’ve prepared and tell us a quick story or joke. Nothing fancy, just something that lets us get to know you.
We love creating music together, so we’ll also teach everyone a short section of a song from the show to sing as a group. An accompanist will be provided.
Because Godspell thrives on the creativity and collaboration of its cast, we’ll also explore some fun, low-pressure improv activities to see how you play, connect, and create with others.
If you have a headshot and résumé, please bring them along, but if you don’t, that’s okay too. Most importantly, we want you to feel relaxed, safe, and confident. This is your time to shine, and we can’t wait to see what you bring!
